ShineToberfest – Moonshine Festival & Chili Cook Off

What do you get when you mix a moonshine festival, with a chili cookoff, ride-in motorcycle and rat rod show, nightly campfire parties and onsite camping? Mix in a handful of arts & crafts vendors selling amazing handmade, homemade and unique items, and you get “SHINETOBERFEST”.

SHINETOBERFEST is an annual festival held in October at the Saddle Sore Ranch off of Route 66 in Mohave County, AZ. It is a three day campout featuring live entertainment, games, activities, vendors, bonfires, campfire parties, contests, a chili cookoff and more… This a 21 and up ONLY event.

Bring a batch of your best moonshine and/or a pot of your best chili, and you could win some cold hard cash!!! Entrants to the moonshine and chili competitions must provide one mason jar of their moonshine or chili for judging, and at least one more mason jar to pass around the campfire. Some get pretty authentic with their moonshine distilling recipes, while others will make flavored Everclear “moonshine”. Whatever it is you make, BRING IT.
