Blood Mountain is the highest mountain in the Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail.
Start at the intersection of 180 (Wolf Pen Gap Road) and US129/19. Take 180 up Blood Mountain. The first few miles are extremely tight and twisting. Be carefull and stay in your lane. When you get to the little town of Suches, turn left on Highway 60 and stop at T.W.O. (Two Wheels Only) It’s a good place to camp, eat and swap stories with other riders.
