Begin at McDonalds in Bernalillo
Proceed NW on US-550. At San Ysidro, turn north on NM-4. In Jemez Springs, there is a nice lunch stop at Los Ojos Bar & Grill. Continue North past Battleship Rock to the Valles Caldera scenic overlook. Good photo spot. You can turn back or continue north to the village of White Rock where there is fuel. Continuing further will take you to Espanola, Pojoaque, or Santa Fe.
